In 1990, after the split of The Klinik , Dirk Ivens ( The Klinik / Absolute Body Control / Sonar) started a new project under the name DIVE, a mixture of minimal, hypnotic and rhythmic beats with lyrics about hope, death and fear. Very primitive, harsh and experimental, but it hits like 1000 volts, and was the start of many products till now with an evolving sound.
With a minimum on equipment, Dirk Ivens creates a maximum of power with his one man performance and only armed with a minidisc and two stroboscopes he proved worldwide on many stages that less means more. |
